UC Merced Science and Engineering Building  |  Merced, CA

At the academic center of the University of California, Merced, campus stands a contemporary three-story research and teaching laboratory facility. With emphasis on research and education in engineering and natural sciences, this building features two, three-story buildings forming an “L” shape. Beneath the bar intersection is a partial basement where the campus vivarium is based for animal research. All other class laboratories are on the ground floor. The second and third floors contain research labs, support spaces, and faculty and administrative offices.
