Music Circus at Wells Fargo Pavilion  |  Sacramento, CA

This whimsical facility is home to the Sacramento Musical Theatre’s Music Circus and Broadway Sacramento. The project scope included new construction of a 25,000-square-foot theatre building and renovation of an existing 28,000-square-foot building with associated site work. Improvements included expansion and renovation to the lobby areas, and renovation of the Main Stage and Stage 2. Additions included a new entry plaza and box office, new administrative offices, additional restroom facilities for both stages, and a new tent-theatre for Music Circus. The “tent” is a permanent structure covered with Teflon-coated fiberglass fabric and has no structural poles—giving unobstructed views of the stage from all seats. Technological improvements included the expansion of the lighting grid and a variable-level turntable on stage, which allows for a unique presentations of productions.
