Moffett Field Pararescue Training Facility  |  Moffett Field, CA

This building is a 48,750 sq. ft. facility and home to the 131st Rescue Squadron and Guardian Angel Weapons System under the command of the 129th Rescue Wing and the 129th Operations Group—which supports their continuous alert mission. Construction features of this pararescue facility included: a 103-foot tall parachute drying tower, a concrete weapons vault equipped with a Class 5 vault door, administrative offices and training spaces, equipment testing areas, storage, mission readiness staging areas and medical training and support spaces. Additional features included use of cast-in-place concrete walls, structural steel roof joists and standing seam metal roofs.
